Built and natural systems are interrelated and should be considered holistically. As stewards of the environment, we take responsibility for design decisions on projects as well as the operation of our office. Sustainability - deeply founded in the principles of energy efficiency, design with nature, and a prudent understanding of the goals of sustainable buildings - is a core value at TBG, central in our design process and evident in our finished projects.

Since our foray into sustainable design the firm has quietly continued its green practices by fundamentally including daylighting opportunities, photovoltaic surface integration, natural ventilation awareness, on-site stormwater management and landscape integration, and green building materials selection for all of our projects, including the UO Allen Hall Expansion & Remodel, the 10th & Mill Building, Market of Choice stores, the New Synagogue for Temple Beth Israel, and several housing, retail and hospitality projects.
