60,000 SF - Manufacturing and Support Facility
Completed at a cost of $3.2 million, this bicycle products design and manufacturing facility is located on 3.5 acres adjacent to the Stewart Pond Wildlife Refuge. The development provides for task-team-based manufacturing, research and development, administrative and sales functions. The project reflects the client's commitment to reduced environmental impact through the use of daylighting, creative energy resource management techniques and on-site stormwater management while providing wetland zone connections. Automobile parking is minimized on the site while priority is afforded to the co-op's many bicycle commuters. Future building growth is designed to integrate parking below building expansions to preserve the natural resources of the site.
