TBG's work in urban planning and civic space design has grown tremendously
in the last decade. With the addition of planner, Kristen Taylor, the firm
has successfully taken on a wide variety of challenging land-use and site
planning projects. As the State's lands become more precious for efficient
development, this aspect of design becomes more crucial.
Urban design and redevelopment projects by TBG have included the pedestrian
features in the Ferry Street Bridge Corridor, design for the reopening
of Broadway Street in Eugene after 30 years of failed attempts as a pedestrian
mall, the SummerOaks development on Chad Drive
and the firm's design participation in the planning proposal for the
Glenwood Riverfront Redevelopment.
As a downtown business, TBG is committed to helping find creative and livable
solutions to our State's and City's land-use challenges. Through efficient
planning, sensitive and localized consideration of neighborhood issues and
our well-founded underlying design values, TBG is at the forefront of sustainable
community planning.
