TBG's experience in recreation-based work spans over 25 years and includes private, corporate, institutional and government facilities. Over the years, awareness of health and wellness issues has influenced the form, nature and intensity of physical activity facilities tremendously. In addition to a variety of project types, TBG designed the central headquarters of NIRSA, the National Intramural/Recreational Sports Association in Corvallis, Oregon.
We designed the UO Student Recreation and Fitness Center that transformed the old Men's PE building and Leighton Pool structures into a comprehensive and fully accessible complex of broad physical activities, training venues and student/faculty gathering spaces. Prior to this, TBG worked on both the Dixon Recreation Center and the Dixon Aquatics Center projects for Oregon State University.
Other physical training, rehabilitation and therapy, and recreation facilities designed by TBG over the years include those for the Boy's & Girl's Club in Florence, Oregon, Cottage Grove Community Hospital, Sacred Heart Medical Center, Driftwood Shores Resort, and the Golf Clubhouse renovation at Salishan Lodge in Gleneden Beach, Oregon.
